Core Curriculum

Core Curriculum

(Based on the National Early Years Learning Framework)

  • Children make sense of the world as they engage in the learning program at Renown Kindergarten.
  • The children’s learning is facilitated as they interact and collaborate with their peers, educators and environment
  • The educators at Renown scaffold the children’s learning – they build the support framework to build on the children’s existing knowledge and strengths.
  • The curriculum focuses on the emerging interests of the whole group and the individual and is enhanced by the educators’ inclusion of intentional teaching (deliberate, purposeful, thoughtful decisions and actions).
